Small group courses for 4th and 5th grade primary school

Is your child in 4th or 5th gra­de pri­ma­ry school and strugg­ling with Mathe­ma­tics or Ger­man? We offer a learning-fri­end­ly envi­ron­ment with dedi­ca­ted tea­chers and per­so­na­li­sed tea­ching mate­ri­als to pro­vi­de tar­ge­ted sup­port for your child. The pro­gram­me takes place weekly during the school term. You can join at any time, and a tri­al les­son is free of char­ge. Com­pared to one-to-one tuto­ring, this pro­gram­me is signi­fi­cant­ly more affordable. 

Course organisation

In small groups of up to a maxi­mum of 5 par­ti­ci­pan­ts, your child prac­ti­ses weekly topics they are still unsu­re about. Les­sons are dos­sier-based, which means cur­rent school topics can be addressed—for exam­p­le, to prepa­re for upco­ming tests. Other­wi­se, assess­ments are used to deter­mi­ne whe­re fur­ther prac­ti­ce is needed. 

Course objectives

In pri­ma­ry school, the foun­da­ti­ons are laid in Mathe­ma­tics and Ger­man. In the­se cour­ses, we sup­port wea­k­er pupils to build self-con­fi­dence. Insuf­fi­ci­ent or just suf­fi­ci­ent gra­de aver­a­ges should move into the 4.5 to 5 ran­ge. In the long term, the goal for cour­se par­ti­ci­pan­ts is usual­ly Secon­da­ry School A. 

Requirements for course participation

Your child must be wil­ling to attend the cour­se weekly. To deepen learning, we can offer to give some home­work to take home. It can be deci­ded indi­vi­du­al­ly whe­ther this is desired.
